In the summer of 2022, I had the privilege of visiting the University of Toronto, an extraordinary institution that provided me with one of the most memorable experiences of my life. As a research intern funded by MITACS, I was able to fully immerse myself in the academic environment, and the opportunity to work alongside some of the brightest minds in the field was truly inspiring. As someone who loves to travel and explore new places, I couldn't have asked for a better destination. The University of Toronto is a beautiful campus, rich in history and culture, and I was able to learn so much about the city and its people during my stay. Exploring the Campus: The University of Toronto - Toronto Campus is the largest university in Canada, with three campuses spread across the city. The St. George campus, located in downtown Toronto, is the main campus and is home to the majority of the university's undergraduate programs.


One of the highlights of the St. George campus is its historic architecture, which features a mix of Gothic, Romanesque, and modern styles. Some of the must-see buildings on campus include the Hart House, University College, and the Royal Ontario Museum. You can take a self-guided walking tour of the campus or join a guided tour to learn more about the university's history and architecture.



The campus is also home to a number of green spaces, including Queen's Park and Philosopher's Walk, which are popular spots for picnics and outdoor activities. If you're interested in art, the Art Museum at the University of Toronto is definitely worth a visit, as it houses an impressive collection of contemporary and historical art.

If you're in the mood for something sweet, be sure to check out the Nutella Cafe, which is located on College Street and is a must-visit for Nutella lovers.



Accommodation: If you're a prospective student visiting the University of Toronto, you may be interested in checking out the on-campus accommodation options. There are a variety of dorms and residences available, ranging from single rooms to shared suites. Many of the residences are located right on campus, making it easy to get to class and participate in campus activities.
